New Update!!

It has been over 6 months since I updated. Alot has happened since. 1stly we moved to a bigger house, my husband got very sick with swine flu and we did meet with the oral surgeon Dr.Costello a few months ago.

He is pushing for the surgery to happen sooner rather than later. Firstly I have to meet with Dr.Petrone for braces which was today. The apt went very well.

From what Dr.Costello has said was that I will be wearing braces for 6 months then have the surgery, then wear braces for at least another 6 months to a year.

Now meeting with Dr.Petrone he evaluated me and asked tons of questions regarding on my medical history with the previous jaw surgery I had when I was 16. The cost for braces is $2800. To get it started we would need down payments and pay over the corse of 18 months.

We met with the financial aid counselor to see how we can get the ball rolling. She contacted the Beautiful Smiles Foundation of Pa and he will help me get it started. In the next few months I will take over the monthly payments. So within the next few weeks to a month.

I will have 2 more meetings with the ortho and the oral surgeon to get the game plan.

I am excited but nervous.
